The Babble Team visited 11 venues throughout the Hunter this year and we were excited to see so many talented young netballers in our region. As finals time approaches in the 2010 season we hope that athletes have been putting some of their new skills out on court and each week improving their game.

A big thank you must go to all parents, coaches and association executives for supporting the Babble Netball Clinics and allowing all the young athletes to spend one extra day enjoying our wonderful sport. We battled a little with the rain this year however all clinics that were cancelled due to poor weather, ran in glorious conditions on the backup dates.

This year we were greatful for the support of Sportspower Salamander Bay who provided the equipment for the clinics including ladders, cones and bibs. Also the Newcastle Herald assisted with advertising early in the commencement of the Babble Clinics.

Clinic dates for 2011 will be posted on the website in November so keep an eye out and plan ahead so you dont miss the Babble Clinic closest to you.

To answer a few questions that have been coming in...

Will there be clinics next year?
Clinic dates for 2011 are yet to be confirmed however the available dates will range from 1st May  - 14th August. Normally associations will follow up with a date similar to the one they had this year. I will update everyone with an email or keep an eye on our website.

What about school holiday clinics?
The second week in the July School Holidays has been allocated as possible clinic dates, so keep an eye out for clinics around that time. We will endeavour to spread theses clinics across the Hunter.

Can I organise a clinic for my club?
There are a few dates available for clubs to host their own Babble Clinic exclusively for their own members. Please contact katie@babblemanagement.com.au if you are interested in discussing this option for your club.
